Community Invited to Health and Education Town Hall

A broad spectrum of community leaders from Umatilla and Morrow Counties are coming together for the Umatilla Learning Connection Town Hall to talk about improving local health, wellness and education. This event is supported by the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council and is only the second town hall of its kind in Oregon. Supporting Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Mainstream Settings

Annual Children’s Rodeo Scheduled for September 15

September means rodeo fun in Pendleton and for the IMESD! The annual Children’s Rodeo will occur on Thursday, September 15 at 10:30 AM in the Round-Up Grounds. This annual event, celebrating 32 years in 2016, provides children with special needs ages 5 through 12 years the opportunity to be cowboys and cowgirls inside the famous Round-Up Arena.

IMESD Offers Free Hearing Screenings to Students this Fall

Again this year, the IMESD will provide free hearing screenings to public elementary school students at area schools this fall.

Hearing screenings are conducted annually by the IMESD’s Audiology Department for public school students in Morrow, Umatilla and Union counties. The program is cooperatively sponsored by our 18 component school districts.
