SUMMARY:

Facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of quality services and solutions. Direct and manage a variety of projects. Provide director, E-Rate Specialist and purchasing support. Manage staff certification, helpdesk system monitoring, outage notifications, contracts, scheduling and securing appropriate resources. Serve as a point of contact for customer service escalation issues.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct planning for the design, cost analysis, implementation, and support of a variety of technology projects.

• Maintain a functional understanding of the entire technical operation and processes.

• Responsible for maintaining positive professional relationships and successful problem resolution with customers, staff and vendors.

• Understand the customer environment, both current, and future needs.

• Develop best practices and procedures in the areas of customer service, project management, and other related technology areas.

• Provide documentation, project tracking and management reporting.

• Create, maintain, prioritize, schedule and communicate a list of tasks to be completed to IT directors at a minimum of monthly basis.

• Take immediate action in response to emergency and outage management situations.

• Communicate effectively, both in person and on the phone, with management, staff, customers, and vendors.

• Encourage IT team members to excel to maximize growth opportunities and provide staffing flexibility.

• Plan and organize the delivery of individual, group training sessions and related events under the direction of the Ops Team.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, staff and vendors

• Handle sensitive and privileged information with the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity.

• Perform other reasonable duties that from time to time may be assigned to meet the usual and unusual demands placed on the organization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or equivalent training, knowledge and experience.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

• Microsoft Office

• Accounting software

• Windows SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• General IT business operations

• Customer service and vendor relations

• Project management

• Basic networking technologies

• Professionalism and organization skills

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Office Operations Manager will be required to travel. Occasionally assignments will require an overnight stay.
