IMESD Board to tour region, interact with staff

Release Date:
4/26/2012

Since the merger, the IMESD Board of Directors has repeatedly expressed an interest in visiting programs within the newly-formed region. The Board wants to interact with staff, students and school personnel at their sites to gain a first-hand perspective of the IMESD. They will do so during an ambitious one-day tour on May 16.

Since a one-day tour does not allow adequate time to cover all programs and locations, an itinerary has been established to provide as many experiences as possible in an efficient manner. The tour will begin in Boardman and end in La Grande, where the Board will attend the Crystal Apple Awards ceremony for Union County school district winners at Eastern Oregon University.
