The month of April has been designated as the month to bring awareness to Autism and to recognize the amazing work of our Autism Consultants.  Autism Consultants provide invaluable coaching and training opportunities and inspiration to their students, family, teachers and staff.  InterMountain Education Service District has a total of 3 Autism Consultants and 1 Autism Para-Educator working to serve students in Morrow, Umatilla, Grant, Wallowa, Union and Baker counties.  These awesome individuals serve approximately 250 students in the schools and an additional 100 children in the Early Education Program.

We want to not only recognize, but to thank our amazing Autism Consultants!  You have the opportunity to make the lives of the children you serve better every day.  May our words of gratitude and the smiles of the children reward you for your hard work and dedication!
