Summer Instructional Trainings Offered in June and July

Release Date:
6/24/2015

The IMESD is offering its Summer Series of Instructional Trainings to educators each Tuesday from June 23 through July 21. On each Tuesday, two workshops will be offered, one in the morning (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM) and one in the afternoon (12:30 PM to 3:30 PM). The focus of the trainings is using technology tools to support curriculum and instruction. The trainings are conducted at the InterMountain Education Service District building at 2001 SW Nye Avenue in Pendleton.

Click here for detailed descriptions of each session.

Please bring your own device with you. If you have an iPad, also bring a laptop or chromebook. If you don't have an iPad, then a chromebook or laptop will be fine--a few iPads will available for checkout if needed. Instructors are Joe Buglione (541-966-3150) or Heidi Paullus (541-966-3215), both Instructional Strategies Specialists for the IMESD.

Many of the sessions will provide work time for participants to implement the tool into their curriculum, so if teachers have an idea of curriculum for next year, they should bring that with them (example: a textbook or access to online curriculum).

3 PDUs will be awarded at the end of each session.
