The Assessment and Accountability team oversees a large state assessment grant which serves 11 counties. The IMESD is one of three ESDs in Oregon indentified as a lead contractor. Primary responsibilities include:
- Training and support of District Test Coordinators in 56 school districts
- Management of the statewide assessment (OAKS) throughout Eastern Oregon
- Support of day-to-day assessment
- Management of Score Sites
In addition, the Assessment and Accountability team offers data collection and analysis resources designed to support instruction. Our Data Warehouse application is helpful in analyzing enrollment, attendance and discipline patterns. Administrators view relevant data through a "Dashboard" - a software tool that provides multi-dimensional graphical views of relevant data in a user-friendly format.
