Limited English Proficiency Student Support

The ELL (English Language Learners) Program provides leadership, support and consultation to school districts serving diverse populations.

The program

  • Supports collaboration with school districts to develop ELL plans in compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
  • Provides support services for successful implementation of Migrant Education Program (MEP) and ELL.
  • Facilitates ELL staff development programs that are consistent with district needs.
  • Establishes a link to the Oregon Department of Education.
