Trainings to provide parents with ADHD information

A series of parent training sessions at Freewater Elementary School will help to provide parents with the most up-to-date information and research on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The trainings will take place on Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Freewater Elementary in Milton-Freewater.

Participating parents will also receive practical information on the treatment and management of ADHD. The Nov. 8 session will focus on the characteristics and causes of ADHD, while the Nov. 15 session will highlight the treatment and management of ADHD.

The InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD) is sponsoring the trainings, which will be presented by IMESD school psychologists Jenny Zitterkopf and Deirdre Bradley.
