Consistency of Implementation: An Advanced Workshop on Evidence Based Strategies Used in the STAR Program

Participants will receive consistency of implementation training on the following instructional strategies: teaching functional routines, pivotal response training, discrete trial training and the use of positive behavior intervention and supports as used in the STAR Program. Initial and on-going assessment of student skills using the STAR Student Learning Profile will also be addressed. This workshop will include a brief review of improvements and updates to lesson plans, procedures, and forms in version 2 of the curriculum (examples of Version 2 data forms will be provided). Workshop materials and content will be appropriate for users of version 1 and 2 of the STAR curriculum.
