ODE Medication Adminstration and Glucagon Training

What: Annual ODE Medication Administration Training and Oregon Health Authority Glucagon Training

Where: Intermountain ESD, Lodgepole Ponderosa Room

When: Monday, June 10, 2019 @ 9:00-10:30am Medication Training  &  10:30-11:30pm Glucagon Training (times are approximate)

Who should attend? Any PSD/Nixyaawii, Pilot Rock, Ukiah and Helix staff who will be giving medication under the supervision of Heather Ficken, RN in the 19-20 School Year ( daily medication, field trips and diabetic care teams).

Materials Needed: Please bring the current Medication Administration notebook and forms from your school (lead secretary should have these available). Current first aid card is needed as well.

 

This training is for staff who have been assigned by administration to give medication to students during school or school sponsored activities. Designated school personnel are required to receive training which meets the guidelines established by the Department of Education (ODE) for medication administration.
