Facilitated by Heidi Paullus and Joe Buglione
Tuesday, July 17th at Joseph Building in LaGrande 8:30 - 3:30
with an hour lunch on your own
This session is open to all grade levels and subjects come and prepare to have fun! We will explore resources and tools for incorporating these important skills into your classroom or afterschool program. Scratch, Code.org, Spheros, Parrots, Mindstorms, and more! What is design thinking? Why is it important? What's the benefit of exposing kids to coding and how can that fit into my classroom schedule that's already so full? Where can you get access to some of these devices? These are just some of the questions we will discuss and investigate while having lots of hands on time being learners!
