IMESD is collaborating with regional partners (Port of Morrow, BMCC, EOWB, GOSTEM, Pendleton Chamber and BOLI) to organize a Career Connect Conference on Thursday, April 27th from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pendleton Convention Center.
Amazon will be providing lunches for students and chaperones.
Students who are juniors and seniors in high school will have the opportunity to select industry led workshops, college led workshops and attend a traditional job fair. The workshops will cover topics like apprenticeships, resume writing, what it is like to work in specific industries, military careers and college preparedness and more.
