IMESD congratulates four employees who retired this year. At the IMESD Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, June 7th, these employees were recognized for their long-time dedication to the agency:
Christy Cook is a Physical Therapist in the EI/ECSE program and has worked 14 years for IMESD. She has provided outstanding services to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities aged birth to age five years old and provided expertise and guidance to countless teachers and families.
Malina Lindell, Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Regional Inclusive Services, worked for the agency for 37 years. Her deep appreciation and knowledge of the community she has served have made Malina a trusted and reliable leader in the program whose expertise, passion and advocacy has impacted the lives of countless children and families.
Dana Musgrove, Education Specialist in the School Psychology & Behavioral Services Department, has worked 39 years for IMESD. Dana’s dedication to the profession and the IMESD community has always been apparent through team collaboration and consistency.
Diane Stauffer started 30 years ago at the agency as a sign language interpreter and then became an Educational Assistant in the EI/ECSE program. Very creative, she has always made handmade items for classrooms such as felt story boards and has been a caring, kind and supportive assistant who is always willing to take on new tasks.
