IMESD has organized a Coaching Symposium in August. The purpose of the event is to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development between coaches in eastern Oregon schools. Coaching staff from all sports disciplines in Grades 6-12 in all IMESD's school districts are invited to the FREE Symposium on Thursday, August 10th from 8 AM to 2:30 PM at Pendleton High School.
Troy Jerome, Superintendent of Pilot Rock School District, is working with IMESD to offer the symposium. "We hope this new event provides a platform for coaches from around our region to get to know others in their coaching field, learn from each other's experiences and network," Jerome said.
