The EOU Reading Clinic, is dedicated to make a significant impact on reading outcomes for ALL students in the eastern Oregon region.
Empowering Educators: We're providing invaluable training and hands-on experience to both practicing and pre-service general and special education teachers, along with aspiring reading specialists. By enhancing their skills, we're ensuring a brighter reading future for our students.
Supporting Struggling Readers: Our commitment extends to children who face challenges in meeting reading benchmarks. We're proud to offer research-based structured literacy instruction that focuses on essential aspects such as phonological awareness, sound-symbol association, orthography, morphology, syntax, and semantics.
Structured literacy instruction is designed to give our students the tools they need to excel in reading and language skills.
