IMESD hopes students, teachers and staff in all our school districts have a great start to the new year.

Getting back to school after the summer can be a difficult transition for students. Parents/guardians can help by having your child:

  • Get back into a regular bedtime and sleep schedule

  • Eat regular, healthy meals

  • Get regular physical exercise

  • Limit screen time

  • Talk about excitement or concerns about the upcoming school year

  • Encourage good attendance from the first day of school forward
