The Blue Mountain Early Learning Hub was designed to ensure collaboration and coordination between all early learning and early childhood (prenatal to 8 yrs old) entities in the areas of health, safety, and education.

The Children’s Rodeo offers children with special needs the opportunity to be cowboys and cowgirls inside the famous Round-Up Arena. The Children's Rodeo is FREE and open to the public, and spectators are encouraged to come cheer on the young cowboys and cowgirls!

IMESD's Crisis Response Team is a school-based crisis response team. Members of the team are trained volunteers from schools, churches, private organizations, and outside agencies. When a crisis occurs at a school district, the Crisis Response Team is contacted and a group of volunteers is assembled.

Each year, InterMountain ESD organizes the annual Crystal Apple "Excellence in Education" Awards to recognize outstanding individuals in the education field who are dedicated to the success of our students.

Eastern Promise is a program that encourages students to earn college/post-secondary credits while attending high school in eastern Oregon.

InterMountain ESD has two Outdoor School facilities available to its component school districts in eastern Oregon; IMESD leases a large property within the Umatilla National Forest. Programming and activities for Outdoor School are not provided by IMESD.
